Sarah Kaufman, M.Ed.

Sarah Kaufman is the founder of Kaufman Educational Consulting, where she brings over 17 years of experience supporting students, families, and schools. Her work is grounded in a deep understanding of learning differences, executive functioning challenges, and the complexities of navigating public and private education systems.
Sarah specializes in working with a wide range of learners, including students with learning disabilities, gifted students, and twice-exceptional (2E) students. She partners closely with families to provide individualized academic support, executive functioning coaching, and special education advocacy. Her approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and rooted in evidence-based practices.
Most recently, Sarah served as the Learning Specialist and Interim Assistant Head of School at The Logan School for Creative Learning in Denver, Colorado. In that role, she led school-wide student support services for PreK–8 students, conducted assessments, coached teachers, and collaborated with families to design and implement effective learning and accommodation plans.
Sarah holds dual master’s degrees in Childhood Education and Students with Disabilities from New York University, a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in child psychology from the University of Michigan. She is trained in the Wilson Reading System, Orton-Gillingham, Singapore Math, and The Writing Revolution — approaches that inform her work across literacy, math, and writing instruction.
At Kaufman Educational Consulting, Sarah partners with families to help their children thrive — whether they're facing academic struggles, executive functioning challenges, or navigating special education. She brings empathy, experience, and a deep commitment to each step of the journey.
